Michael Bank, MD • Medical Director
Dr. Bank is the Medical Director of Carmel Medical Care, PC. He oversees clinical care and works with our interdisciplinary team to ensure our patient’s receive the highest quality of care. He also implements appropriate clinical practices, policies, and procedures. He is a caring and compassionate doctor who genuinely listens to our patients concerns and provides them with the highest quality of care.

Dr. Bank is a graduate of Harvard University and earned his Medical Degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY.

In addition to being a talented physician and medical director, Dr. Bank is also an accomplished pianist.

Edward Covelli, DC • Clinic Director
Dr. Covelli, is a Licensed Chiropractor with over 25 years experience in the US and Italy. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1991. He is also a Certified Fitness Instructor.

Dr. Covelli is distinguished as a Diplomat of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. His second language is Italian.
​
In addition to chiropractic, Dr. Covelli is an author of Lean For Keeps and Lean After Forty, a sought after workshop presenter and guest lecturer. He is a professional workshop designer and writer. He is certified as an Independent Chiropractor Examiner.

Garishma Shah • Physical Therapist
Grishma Shah is a physical therapist who completed her bachelor's degree in physical therapy from India in 2016. With nine years of experience in the field, she has worked across various settings, including outpatient clinics, rehab centers, and home care. In addition to her role as a physical therapist, she is also a certified fitness instructor and aerobics trainer. Witnessing patients progress and improve brings her immense joy. Outside of work, she finds pleasure in staying active through workouts and indulging her passion for baking.
Avital Gombiner • Physical Therapist Assistant
Avi received his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science from SUNY Cortland and his Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from SUNY Orange.
Avi was on the Dean's List and a Member of the Phi Theta Kappa Academic Honor Society. He Also Received the L. Howe and Roberta Bernstein Scholarships for Outstanding Academic Achievements.
He comes to our practice from the prestigious Burke Rehabilitation Hospital were he worked with some of the top rehabilitation specialists. We are proud to have him is a member of our team.
