Computerized Muscle Testing

Computerized muscle testing is used to obtain objective muscle strength measurements. It may be used for isolated muscles or muscle groups. Computerized muscle testing results assists our physiatrist and physical therapists to formulate individualized treatment plans and measure progress with rehabilitation.

Diagnostic Ultrasound

Diagnostic ultrasound is used to create images of joints, cartilage, ligaments, tendons, soft tissues, and muscles to detect and diagnose acute conditions, as well as chronic pain conditions. Diagnostic ultrasound is a brief painless in-office procedure.

Nerve Testing (NCV, DEP, EMG)

Nerve conduction testing is performed to evaluate the function of the nerves for muscle movements and sensation, especially in the presence of numbness, tingling, burning, or weakness. Our onsite nerve conduction velocity (NVC) and electromyography (EMG) assessments mean that our patients can receive the work-up they need onsite at our office.
